I used to be the youngest of 5 children in my family. That was before my parents started adopting children. No longer the baby of the family, I am now a middle-child of 8 siblings. Growing up in a large, and seemingly ever-growing, family has helped me develop some valuable character traits, including: teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in the midst of chaos. These traits have not only made me a better family member and person, but have also made me a better student, athlete and teammate.
I’ve grown up understanding the importance and value of education. Both of my parents and all 4 of my older siblings have earned college degrees. My dream is to play college basketball while working toward a college degree. I’ve seen the dedication, commitment and sacrifice required to succeed and achieve goals. I have and will continue to apply those characteristics as I pursue my college academic and athletic goals. I'm looking for a college and college basketball program with shared values that will partner with me in the journey.
