Skyler Wilson '21 Recruiting Profile

    Many people have the same dream, to play college basketball. However, not everyone has the same determination, heart, aggressiveness and drive, that I have. Not only do I feel confident in myself athletically, but also academically. I work just as hard off the court as I do on the court. This means helping my family, volunteering in the community, and pushing myself in the classroom everyday.

Ive always been a good shooter and I’m continually working on becoming even better. At the high school I attend that has multiple D1 scouts looking at some of our varsity players, I am known to be a skilled shooting guard which is great but I’m working hard on all aspects of my game. I want to be known as a strong offensive and defensive player. I’m looking forward to getting a lot of playing time this season and to stay on the court because my coaches and team know I’m the one that’s getting it done. I also pride myself of being a team player and knowing the importance of passing the ball for the open shot. 

Basketball is what I do and it’s who I am. I’ve just begun to show what I’m capable of too.
