Cristian Acevedo '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was 8 years old. Ever since I first picked up a basketball, It’s been my dream to play at the highest level possible. I know that playing for a college basketball team could change my entire life and it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I am a lethal shooter, strong physical build, coachable, high energy, and just a good person to be around. I am a team leader and try to lead by example and still encourage my teammates. I strive to be one of the best players on any team that I am on. I work hard 24/7 all year round on necessary skills I may need to improve, participating in high school basketball and AAU basketball.

In school I am one of the smartest kids in my class, I study and work hard to maintain a high GPA. Also, in my free time, I love to coach my dads 13u AAU basketball team.

Attending a good college that fits me perfectly would be amazing not only for me but my entire family. I am the son of two immigrant parents who have achieved the American dream. I would be the first in my generation to be a college student in my family.
