Hunter Lowry '21 Recruiting Profile

I understand the importance of the word TEAM.  I always support and encourage my teammates and coaches.  I am hardworking, positive, and outgoing.  On the court I am willing to do whatever my role requires in order for my team to win.  I am a solid team player who plays with grit, doing all the little things required in basketball.  I consistently box out, take charges, get deflections, crash the boards and dive for lose balls.  My coaches tell me I am the guy to go to when something is needed to change the momentum of a game.  I play hard all the time, no matter what the level of competition is.  Having coached several YMCA recreation teams I have developed a solid basketball IQ that has helped me be a reliable leader on the court.  The game has taught me a lot about teamwork, leadership, and paying attention to the details that are often ignored.    

My ultimate goal is to get a solid college education that will help secure my future.  I have a good history in the classroom and I am involved in other afterschool activities, such as Student Government.  These activities have helped shape me into a well-rounded person who will be an asset to any college that accepts me.
