Andrew Madden '18 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Andrew Madden and I attend Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am in the class of 2018. I am a two sport athlete, playing basketball, as well as baseball. During the years of middle school my AAU experience helped impact my life both on and off the court greatly. My first year of AAU in 6th grade was great because we dominated most of the tournaments we played in, but that next year was a true wake up call for me. We struggled mightily that season and it taught me that no matter what you do in life, you can never get too satisfied. I learned that there is always room for improvement.

    Being named team captain in both baseball and basketball during my sophomore year, I possess leadership qualities and understand the importance of hard work, commitment, sacrifice, team work, and dedication. I know that I have the drive and ability to compete at the next level. I am looking for a school that will challenge me academically.  Academics is and always will be a top priority of mine.
