- A quickly growing scoring guard seems to have grown an inch or so. He moves without the ball and relocates to an open shot. He gives hard ball fakes and will go by his defender or do the 1-dribble pull-up from mid-range and he is a very consistent three point shooter. - Gregg Rosenberg

- 2026 Standouts by Gregg Rosenberg: Josh and Drew (Dana) will be teaming up a lot on the freshman team and should both be immediate producers and move up next year. Josh is more of the shooter of the two. He is a skilled player with a quicker release off the catch from the three point line. He does have a quick first step with good size for his class.

- Evaluation by Ethan Piechota: McManaway was one of the largest risers for me over the course of the camp, bursting onto the scene and displaying his clear upside as an incoming freshman. At 6'1 - and still, with a ton of room to grow physically judging based on his extremities and the outlook of his frame - he uses his length to his advantage and did a nice job of splitting gaps with his handle and occasionally finishing in tough spots at the rim. Out on the perimeter, he displayed the ability to shoot it from deep off the catch and has some potential volume scoring upside down the line with his tools and skillset. One to track definitely.
