Personal Statement
When I was ten years old, I met Kobe Bryant at a youth basketball camp in California. He told us: "The moment you give up is the moment you let someone else win." That quote burned into my brain and I resolved then and there to become the most skilled player and best shooter on the court. My motto since then has been: "Never give up. Give 100 percent."
My skills in and knowledge of the game were honed by being able to play on numerous travel teams in addition to school teams ever since I was a very young child. The diversity of the groups with which I was able to play with gave me a broad background and perspective on the game itself. It also made me a great teammate and overall team player. When the going gets tough, my shooting, skills, and leadership always help to get the team through the game and pull out the win.
Currently, I have a 4.66 GPA at Pusch Ridge Christian Academy and would like to find a collegiate program that will allow me to further develop both as a player and succeed academically.
