Peter Barber '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Peter Barber and I am a 6'11" center from Greenland Arkansas, I weigh in at 270 and have a size 21 shoe. I have played organized school basketball since the 4th grade and I have loved every minute of it. I have wanted to play basketball for a college team ever since I was in 7th grade, and I have always been a huge inside presence and average nearly a triple double every game at 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 blocks. Even though I am a threat in the paint I am also trusted to step out and knock down mid-range jump shots and the occasional 3. I am a team captain and I will jump at any chance to put the team on my shoulders and carry them to do what is needed to win. I want to major in secondary education and become a high school science teacher and coach; even so I am willing to go anywhere I can to play college basketball since it is my dream to do so.
