Khalil Williams '14 Recruiting Profile

I've played basketball for as long as I can remember. Its always been, sorta like my first love! Although I didn't know the game that well when I was young of course, throughout my years of playing, I've learned a lot! I've learned, or more developed a love of the game! Playing high school basketball was great...but to be able to continue after would be a dream. I know there's more to playing basketball than scoring & defense! Academics comes first! I'm a hard worker on the court & just as hard in the classroom. I would be a good candidate for any team! I feel my character speaks for itself. I'm down to earth & never meet a stranger. I was a member & then president of GOK: Gentlemen of Knowledge at my high school. Myself & other found it necessary to raise student scores among minorities. Our first year was a huge success. We traveled many places telling our story & why we saw the need among minorities to be better! I'm not just an athlete, I'm a student athlete, & if given the chance to continue playing basketball after high school, I promise to give my all & continue to make paths!
