My name is Lucas Tan-Ngo, and I am part of the graduating class of 2026 at Vancouver College in British Columbia, Canada. Standing at 6 feet tall, I play the starting point guard position. My basketball journey began in the 2nd grade enrolling in summer camps around the city before finally joining my elementary school team in 5th grade. Since then, basketball has been my passion.
As a player, I excel as a strong playmaker, a versatile 3-level scorer, and a leader on the court. speed, strength, and high basketball IQ are my greatest assets and they contribute to my effectiveness as a defensive-minded player. I take great pride in my work ethic and dedication to both basketball and my studies. This semester, I achieved a 4.0 GPA, earned a spot on the school's President's Honor Society, and received various awards for my academic performance and behavior.
I thrive in a team environment, working together with my teammates to achieve excellence. I hope this upcoming season will foster growth for me as an athlete and an individual. My love for basketball drives me to envision a future shaped by the game I cherish. I am excited to put in the hard work needed to become the best player I can be. This year, I was honored to be recognized as an honorable conference player and team MVP; I see it as the beginning of great things to come in my future.
