Gavin Bilg '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gavin Bilg, and I am in grade 10 at Windermere Secondary School in Vancouver, BC. I have a deep passion for basketball and have always strived to be a well-rounded player and person.

Basketball has been a significant part of my life for as long as I can remember. My enthusiasm for the game grew drastically when I played for my school team in elementary and later in high school and from various basketball camps I’ve attended. I am hard working and determined with a strong mindset towards basketball and I am always trying to improve my skills no matter the obstacles. I take criticism well, put my teams' goals before mine, and overall bring good energy to any environment. I am driven by my dream to play college basketball that also offers an exceptional business degree program.

Apart from basketball, I also aim to succeed academically and take part in my school community. I believe it’s important to maintain a healthy balance between sports and academics as both are critical in my journey to success and happiness.
