Stephen Ransom '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Stephen Ransom. I’m a Senior in the Class of 2022 and play basketball where I attend Benicia High School. I strive to be a college graduate in 4 years and major in Sports Business where one day I can be an owner of a Professional Sports Team. Throughout my 4 years of college I aspire to play College Basketball. I am a big minded, fun, and hard working person that looks to find joy and true meaning in purposes and events that happen in life. My mind can wander about many topics, but the only way you will ever truly know something or get something done is when you put your mind to it. Hard work isn’t just going all out with the effort. Hard work has so much to do with one’s mentality and whether they are putting themselves in positive situations or negative. Those are two words that have tremendous impacts on anything you do in life. Positive or Negative, two completely opposites that not everybody understands. Positivity can do so much when you look for the best in a situation, it can uplift your spirit thus causing your actions to improve drastically. In school and on the court I look for the best outcomes and put myself in a learning environment at all times to know if I could have done better or have to make any changes or adjustments so I can set myself up for success in the future.
