Niles Malone '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Niles Malone a Senior at Berkeley High School in Berkeley, California.  I am a three-year varsity point guard player. I want a basketball scholarship, what I have been working for since a kid to be able to sign my letter of intent to a college program that will embrace my talents and help mold me into the player that I want to be.  Most recently, I led my high school basketball team to the CIF Division 1 Regional NorCal Championship.  Throughout this season, I averaged 18 points per game, 5 assists and 4 rebounds, ending season 2015/16 as the CIF NorCal Championship MVP; CIF Division 1 Sportsmanship Award/MVP; Get Sports Focus Elite -3 Point contest winner; MLK Classic leading scorer; 2nd Team All league; Nor Cal All NCS; East Bay Athlete of the Week and Contra Costa Star of the Week.  

My final varsity season showcased my skills while competing throughout 2015/16 basketball season.  I am very eager to continue competing at a Collegiate level.   I've worked very hard over the past years to perfect my game, make adjustments when needed and continue working hard on my craft.  I not only work hard and perform my best on the court, but I also work hard in the classroom.  I currently have a 3.5 GPA and earned the CIF Scholar Athlete 3.5 award during the NorCal Championship game.  

I would be a great addition to any team.  I have great sportsmanship, I'm a consistent player, hard worker and love to win.  What makes me different from other athletes, I am super quick, my ability to score and create plays at any time , shot percentage and my percentage of shooting 3- pointers in made every game. But what stands out about me is my heart no matter how tall or bigger my opponent is I will never back down and always accept the challenge at any time.
