Benjamin Reaves '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Benjamin Reaves. I am 18 years old and I attend Gladstone High School in Covina, California where I have been the varsity team starting point guard Freshman through Senior Years. Currently, I am 5'9'' and weigh approximately 155 lbs.  Although I am a strong all-around player, my greatest strength is as a defensive player with maximum speed who understands the game well.  As a point guard, I utilize the attention I get because of my scoring threat (my ability to shoot the long ball and penetrate to the basket) to create scoring opportunities for my teammates.  I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old; it is a great passion of mine. I have always envisioned myself playing at the college level, and now that time is near. This year, being my final year in high school, ended on a positive note. I helped to lead my team to 3rd round CIF for the first time in 41 years. However, I am not satisfied with that. I want to continue playing basketball at the next level. I know through hard work on the court and with my studies, this dream can come true, and I will capitalize on any opportunity that may arise.
