Connor Kane '22 Recruiting Profile

I am an aspiring senior varsity student athlete (basketball/baseball) looking to play at the college level - Div I or II at an academically strong and inspirational university.  Due to California strict public health restrictions, my sophomore year playing Varsity Basketball was shut down early, but we have hopes to play a short spring season in April/May 2021. During the shutdown, I worked on my skills and strength with weight lifting and practice.  I also joined a club team, the Silicon Valley Soldiers, where I am thriving with new coaching and development. I am hoping to put these skills to work this spring and summer.  I have a twin sister who is a competitive soccer player and my brother, is a junior at Indiana University studying business.

From a character perspective, I am a team player, a leader, and an enthusiastic learner.

Academically, I attend a very high level school in Silicon Valley and take some honors, and advanced college prep courses. It has been tough to be completely online, but I am excited to finally be able to go back to live school this spring 2021.

My interests besides sports are scuba diving (am certified diver), mountain biking, hiking with friends, and playing with my cat Dakota.
