My collegiate goals and aspirations concern attending an institution that can help foster my growth both academically and athletically. Pertaining to athletics, I've played basketball competitively on the AAU circuit for the past six years, and I want to continue honing my passion for the sport at the collegiate level. A factor that separates me from other athletes is my love of failure. Although sometimes discouraging, I've learned to embrace mistakes as an opportunity to learn and grow as an athlete. Over the years I've observed this beauty of adversity time and time again, as only by overcoming rather than shying away from challenges can an athlete ascend and improve. This is a mindset I intend to internalize and take into my collegiate athletic experience as well.
