Reshawn Strawder '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is ReShawn Strawder and I'm a four year Varsity player for Cabrllio High School in Lompoc California.  I have been a stater for the last three years playing the point guard position.  My team has had success under my leadership.  We have won the Los Padre League four years straight with a record of 50-2 over those four years.   In my four years on varsity we went 85-29 overall with a CIF Quarterfinal showing my 1st year starting.  I'm a pass first point guard who loves to set his teammates up.  I have the single season  and career assist records.   I have increased my points production every year from 2 my freshman year 6 my sophomore year 13 my junior and 17 my senior year.  I'm a great on ball defender who never fears guarding the other teams best player. I have been named all league defensive player of the year this year.  This year I set the schools single season and career steals record. I have Avg. 3.0 over my four years.   I also enjoy helping my team rebound the ball to start the fast break.  I have Avg over 3.5 rebounds a game since starting. My Junior year I Avg. 4.2 rebounds a game. This year I Avg. over 5 rebounds as a point guard. I have had 5 triple doubles this year. My favorite player to watch was Magic Johnson.  I have watched and re-watched so many of his games since I was big enough to carry a basketball.  Magic was a do everything kind of player for his team to win, and his game is what I like my game to be.
