Jalen Joyce '22 Recruiting Profile

I know that every player on this NCSA site wants to same thing - to go to college, play ball, and some of us will hopefully become professional athletes so I'm no different and I hope that we all reach our goal. What makes me unique is my focus and determination to succeed, both academically and athletically. When I was younger and my mom would drop me off at school- every morning she would say "son, remember failure is..." then I would say "not an option".  As I've grown, I now know that to beat a failure all I have to do is try. I know that I'm going to get out of it whatever I put into it. I'm not saying that I will win it all- I'm just saying that I will do my best, which in some cases will push me to try harder to do better the next time around!
