David Angulo '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is David Angulo. I am currently a  senior, class of 2022, at Poway Highschool, CA. I am 6'0 shooting guard that can also play the one. My passion for basketball began in the 8th grade, and basketball has shaped me to who I am today. My main goal is playing at a high level. The culture of the game is so special and unique nothing compares to it, I love every ounce of what the game brings. My key strengths is being able to shoot the three really well, and becoming a threat, allowing  opportunities for my team to be open.  I take defense very seriously and make it personal if my man scores.  During the pandemic in my most important year in highschool, junior year, keeping up with my studies was difficult since I was in the last level of my core classes and took an AP class.  What motivated me to keep going was the thought of being the first in my family to go to college, so not only did I fall in love with basketball, I am dedicated to go to a 4 year college. I am ready for any challenges this year and ready to work hard on and off the court. I was awarded second team all Palomar league, and cant wait to see what I can accomplish in the future.
