Daniel Haimes '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Daniel Haimes and I am a senior at San Juan Hills High School. I am looking to play at the next level of basketball while working towards a degree in a Health Science Program. I have been on the varsity basketball team since I was a freshman. My Freshman year, I received the Coaches’ Award for my overall work ethic and leadership on the team. As a sophomore, I worked hard in the gym, gained 20 pounds of muscle, and increased my shooting ability by shooting before and after practice. As a junior, I earned a spot as the starting shooting guard. I averaged 9.1 pts per game and shooting 40% from three point range, and averaging 15 pts per game my last three league games. I received the Best-Offensive and Best-Defensive Player award that year and was named Co-MVP. Over the summer, I engaged in many college camps including UC San Diego and UC Santa Cruz to further my game both offensively and defensively. This year, I am the Captain of the team while averaging 11.6 pts per game so far in 7 games. I look forward in discussing how my skills can help contribute to your program and help make an immediate impact.
