There are many goals in the collegiate level that I want to achieve. I want to graduate from college and eventually become an excellent architecture but at the same time, to have the ability to play college basketball and make a name for myself. As I strive towards my goals, I learn more and more from the mistakes I had made while moving forward, making me into the better individual and a better basketball player that I am today. I am a good candidate for any team because I have the will to win at any cost, no matter how much I am losing by, and the power to help others succeed along with me. I am a person who strives to be unique. In the past I have been stereotyped and discriminated because of my looks and the grades I receive at a highly educated school. Though my grades do not live up to some peoples expectations, I will still continue to try my best. I chose to play basketball because it is a sport that comforts my mind. Basketball is like a way of life and exemplifies the society we live in. When playing, I always want to beat the person who is in front of me, no matter if they are on defense or offense. I use this idea in society by having the mindset to be the best that I can in anything that I do. I have a dream. I want to prove to the many people in the past, the ones that have doubted me and laughed at me, that I can accomplish anything I want to do, just as long as I put my mindset on it. I strongly put the words said by the great Michael Jordan to heart."I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying." This quote has made me into what I am today, not a person of society, but as a unique individual who has the will to believe in the impossible.
