Cameron Walker '21 Recruiting Profile

Currently attending Porterville Junior College in California. I am a student-athlete interested in a 4-year University that is rich in tradition, success, and pride. I want to be a part of a University that allows for extended networking that goes beyond graduation and will always be a part of my life. I want my college years to be a personal growth period.  My goal is to explore a sports management major that will allow for potential employment in the sports industry. 

On the court, I plan to be a dynamic player and a positive influence on the team.  I will strive to be an asset to a program as a lead guard by demonstrating the ability to be dynamic, humble, listen, serve others, and work hard. Playing at the highest level is a goal. However, I am open to all levels and realistic about my abilities. I am aware of the importance of identifying the right fit.  Coaches looking for a gym rat with excellent ball-handling skills look no further. I’m your guy. I can knock down the three and the IQ to understand it’s not there and hit the pull-up. I play at different speeds and paces. I am different from other recruits because I am skilled, can shoot, defend, and understand I am not there yet. I still have plenty of areas to improve on and am motivated to produce results.  Also, you will not have to worry about questionable behavior, or will he make it here academically. I am focused, and you can count on me to represent your ideal student-athlete.
