Daniel Malagon '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Daniel Malagon and I am a student athlete that attends Turlock High School in California. I played soccer and baseball for 6 years but fell in love with basketball. I have played basketball for 7 years and am fully committed to this sport. I want to do my best every time I practice or play the game. I am a good leader on and off the court. I listen very well and can learn things really quick. I focus on making my team around me better while building good relationships with teammates. I always make it a point to step up and help my team win and improve every game.

My first priority on the court is to get my teammates the ball but I can also score in and out of the paint when the opportunity is there. Along with that, I focus a lot on defense and communication because defense and communicating is one of the most important elements of the game. I’m fully committed to this sport and I will be the hardest working person on the court. My education is also very important to me so working hard in the classroom is a priority.  I look forward to continuing my education and playing basketball at your school.
