First and for most, I would like to get my bachelors degree in psychology. I really want to be a part of a family based school and team. For the college side of it, I just want to be the first in my family to graduate from college and be able to take care and provide for my family in the long run. What makes me a good candidate is the fact that I'm willing to do whatever it takes to push my guys to the next level, not only as a team, but as a family. My leadership as a point guard and the way I can connect with my teammates is what I feel like separates me from a lot of other athletes in my position. The difference with me is that I have a story to tell, and I have a lot to prove so I really won't let anything get in the way of what I have to do. What separates me athletically is my IQ. Knowing how to come off screens, making the right decisions, and how to be the extension of the coach on the court on both sides of the floor. I can shoot and handle the ball and am good with handling pressure, whether that be the crowd, in game situation, or high stakes. Lastly, I have a choice to play professional basketball In the top league in La Paz, Baja California Sur. That is a dream come true but I would rather get my degree first and be able to do a lot of different things even when my career is over, because the ball is going to stop bouncing one day, and I need to have something else I can fall back on, and empowering your mind will let you have anything in life because no one can take that away from you.
