Julian Leon '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am working through my Senior Year at Conrad School of Sciences and have maintained a GPA of 3.0+.  My academic interest is in the field of Sports Media Communication.  My goals are to continue playing basketball and become a Sports Commentator.  Ever since I could remember I have been active in various sports.  During elementary, I achieved several belts in martial arts.  I then moved on to the sport of baseball beginning with Tee Ball and played for several years.  Then I enrolled at the Boys and Girls Club and joined their basketball team.  We trained and competed.  I spent every year to date participating in various basketball camps and working on improving my skills.  In middle school, while still playing basketball, I also participated in the sport of Volleyball and assisted the coach as needed.  During my first year in high school I joined the Freshman basketball team and have had the privilege of continuing to play for Junior Varsity and now Varsity.  I also assist the coach with the Women's basketball team scrimmages.  During Junior year I have also had the privilege of assisting the coach with the Boys Baseball Team.  I truly enjoy participating and helping others where needed.  What hopefully sets me apart from others is my determination, dedication, athleticism, sportsmanship and passion for the sport.  I also have my families support who empower me to follow my dreams.
