Matt Lansdowne '14 Recruiting Profile

Aspiring to enter the field of sports medicine while playing the game that I love. I am a great candidate for a team because I not only push myself to be the best player that I can be but also push my teammates to to their full potential. I am well educated in the game of basketball and know what to do in situations of the game and a student of the game, I am very coachable and am willing to accept roles on the team whether it be defensive, scorer, shooter, passer, or rebounder. Even when I don't play I look to help my teammates see opportunities when they play and help them anticipate what a player might do. I am well disciplined and will always give 100% no matter the situation. I am not a selfish player and will always take the opportunity to better the team even with the sacrifice of my own stats. We are student athletes so I am always trying to better myself in the classroom as well as on the court. I feel that the two correlate to each other in that if disciplined in the classroom then the athlete will give the same amount of effort on the court which is how I am.
