Emre Barut '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emre Barut, I am a 6 foot Point Guard from Turkey. For the past 2 years I am playing and studying in Switzerland, however I kept playing with my Turkish club team which won the u18 Championship last year. As a point guard I love analyzing and studying the game which I believe will make me a better point guard and a better leader on the court. Coming from a international background made me a very open minded person which allowed me to learn many different things from different coaches. 

My strengths are handling the ball, mid range shots, driving and reading the floor. I believe that I have a very different work ethic which helps me to become 1% better everyday. 3 pointers and finishing high of the glass are the things I believe I need to work on the most.

Because I thought I needed to work on a lot of things I decided to come to İMG Academy for a Post Grad year. Which will allow me to be the player that I want to be before I go to collage.
