Mauro Villamil '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mauro Villamil , I’m a 5”10 foot point guard from San Juan , Puerto  Rico. I‘ve been playing basketball  since I was 7 years old . I recently move from home to go to IMG Academy to improve my  skills, and play with top notch players and leagues and be coach by some of the best coaches out there .
Even though I am a humble reserve guy outside the court , I strive to exceed everyone’s expectations hustling and having a tactical view of  all my teammates to get the plays done, always positioning myself to get the rebound for that extra point . 

I have a lot of passion and respect for the sport and always strive to work extra hard to continue developing my skills .
