Kailon Nicholls '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Kailon Nicholls and I am born and raised in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I love the game of basketball and I've been playing the sport since I was 8 years old. I play for Toronto NuStep Ballers based out of Downtown Toronto and enjoy both local competition and AAU travel season where we go many places in the U.S.

I attend Crestwood Preparatory College, which is a private school with one of the best basketball programs in Canada. I am a two time honour role student at Crestwood and I enjoy my teachers, classmates and teammates who I am friends with outside of the school too. My favourite subjects are Math, Science and business and I intend to pursue the subjects when I go to university.

My favourite basketball player is Russell Westbrook because he plays hard every single possesion very night with such intensity and passion and I want to do the same. Other players I like are Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Tracy MaGrady and Damian Lillard. My goal is to some day play professional basketball after graduating university and hope to play for a very long time. 

Other sports I have played and enjoyed are track n field, ultimate frezbie, and touch/flag football. I also enjoy animals and have had several pets like guinea pigs, crabs, turtle and now have a ferret and a dog, I may take some kind of animal course in university as well.
