Jason Powell '22 Recruiting Profile

My current collegiate goals and aspirations are to be able to complete my business major at a college I will love. I want to be able to find a college that will help me academically, and athletically. I am determined to become the best possible floor general as a starting NCAA point guard. I have had some great coaches assist me in my journey to becoming a better athlete. I want to become the best me I can possibly become. I am different from the average recruit considering I have already lived on my own since I was 16 my parents were nice enough to send me away to two different academies these past two years. Which helped me live on my own and not always need my parents to help me with daily life. Now Academically I have been maintaining a 3.0-3.5 GPA since my sophomore year of high school. I learned early on that school work was a necessity in order for me to be successful which is why it's a top priority of mine. As a player I'm a hard worker and a leader I don't slack or cut other people slack I know that wherever I go I will be a great contribution not just on but off the court I will be accountable and make sure to keep all my teammates accountable.
