My name is Jaeden Ortiz. I currently attend Daytona State College, previously I attended Eastern Nazarene College where I played on the men’s basketball team during the 2018/2019 season. I decided to transfer when I changed my major from Pre-Med to Criminal Justice.
I graduated from Trinity Christian Academy located in Deltona, FL. I was the starting point guard and team captain for 3 years and my team was the 3A state runner up my junior year. I was a member of the National Honor Society.
Basketball is my passion and a tool that I intend to use to help achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a Federal Agent for the FBI. I am a good candidate for any team because I am a natural leader, a fast learner, and more importantly a total team player.
I believe a character trait that makes me stand out from other recruits is my determination to excel not just on the court but in life.
Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement.
Respectfully,
Jaeden Ortiz
