Personal Statement

Hello,

My name is Kyle Jones and I am a 17 year old high school student athlete at Paxon School for Advanced Studies, Jacksonville FL. I have a goal to play college basketball. I am a 6’2" shooting guard who loves to play fast in transition with a good mid range in the half court offense. I love to lock up on defense and make it hard for opponents. I am great at moving the ball, finding my teammates and ultimately doing what it takes to win the game.

Basketball is a game I fell in love with as I have a passion to play and get better every day. I believe I can make my goal come to life as I continue to work hard. I take every opportunity I get and always try to learn and receive advice from my coaches.

I also understand that basketball can not happen in college without getting it done in the classroom first, as I have a 3.5 unweighted GPA.

This summer I will be playing with North Florida United AAU 17U team.
