Joshua Carson '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8" point guard from Pembroke Pines, FL. I have started varsity all 4 years I've played high school basketball. I was the only Division 6A player to be on the Broward County Athletic Association Big 8 All-Tournament Team in 2011. Also I won the Broward County Athletic Association Big 8 3 Point Contest. I have a 4.2 GPA, 1720 SAT (including writing), and my ACT, and received a 27. I am looking for an institution where I can achieve excellence both on the court and in the classroom. I would like to attend a university with a great academic reputation in Marketing. I would like to immediately make a positive impact on the basketball team. I believe that my best fit would be at the D1, DII or NAIA level, but I would not mind any high academic DIII possibilities. I am not a one-dimensional player. I can contribute with points, assists, rebounds, steals, and hustle. I'm a leader on and off the court, and I will always find a way to make my teammates better. I can run the fast break, or set up an half court offense.
