Zach Smith '17 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations for college include getting a four year degree in the study of Sports Management.  Athletically, I want to be known as a guy who will play hard and give it my all.  I'm different from other recruits in the fact that I take a lot of pride in my academics.  I have achieved a 4.3 GPA through two years of high school and plan to continue achieving at a high level in the classroom.  Athletically, I'm versatile as I've gained the ability during the off season to play as a "stretch 5".  I can and will take the ball inside to the hoop and have a solid post up game and when needed can step outside and hit mid range or even three point jumpers.  I would be a good candidate for your team because I can take criticism.  Many players become angry or feel hurt when a coach calls them out.  I'll listen to the criticism and react positively from it.
