Brandon Caicedo '16 Recruiting Profile

I feel I am a good athlete and I have a good work ethic.  I played travel soccer for almost 8 years.   In my freshman year of high school I started to grow. I felt my height over powered my ability to perform on the soccer field.  I began to practice basketball on my own.  I always loved the game and I educated myself on every play I could watching it.  I absorbed all that I could, and I realize that an individual does not define the outcome of a game.   Teamwork does.   To have a good team you must make key plays, and I feel I have a good vision of the court and work hard to make my team successful.    I am thankful to have been given the opportunity to play for my high school team.  Our school has almost 4,000 students and to be in the elite 15 is an honor.  I serve as one of the varsity  captains this year and I work hard to be a supportive team member and to make a difference on and off the court.  My hope is to continue this journey beyond high school, I will work hard everyday towards my goal.
