Personal Statement
My coaches have emphasized the importance of fundamentals and playing team basketball first. I was lucky enough to receive feedback from my high school coach that I have the highest basketball IQ he has ever coached. That has motivated me to deliver in other areas including hustle and helping to make my teammates better too. My role, early in my basketball career, was being the player to do the dirty work with solid screens, rebounds and being the go to guy to help break any press. After attending off season camps and expanding my perimeter game I have learned to draw defenses out which allows for more open looks to my teammates cutting to the hole. I love to be on the floor at the end of games as I am confident in keeping the mistakes low and am able to knock down the free throws in a pressure situation.
