My name is Elijah Caine, I am 17 years old and I am a student athlete at New Faith Christian Academy. I gained interest in basketball at the young age of 6 years old. I became interested in basketball from watching It with my brother in-law. We would watch players like Kobe and Lebron which would catch my interest and entertain me. When I was 9 I officially began playing basketball for my elementary school. When I reached middle school, that's when I started to take basketball seriously.Since then basketball has taught me a lot about who I am as a person. It has taught me how competitive I am, how I can use my intelligence to make the game easier, the importance of academics, and most how to form relationships, and how much of a factor relationships are into shaping who you are as a person and a player. I truly believe that my ability to play every position on the floor, my intelligence, competitiveness, and my desire to be coached Is what separates me from the other prospects and makes me a good candidate for any team. With my remaining year in high school, I am aiming for a 4.0 gpa and a state championship as I plan to make it my best year academically and athletically. Following high school I want to major in Business, while competeing on a basketball team at the next level.
