Evan Montgomery '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Evan Montgomery, and I am a 6’ 6” Power Forward and Center who loves the game of basketball,  understands the game and respects the game of basketball. I have been playing since I was 5 years old. 

Not making my 8th Grade basketball team was a huge disappointment to me and I knew I had two choices: 1) Get Better or 2) Quit. I’m not a quitter so I spent the next year playing on travel teams, working with individual coaches and even volunteering to keep stats for the Varsity team.  I am proud to say that I started every game for my 9th Grade team and was even asked to work out with Varsity. I am a hard worker willing to put in what it takes.

I am blessed to attend one of the top public schools in the country where I take honors classes and maintain a 94.9 GPA. I am a leader for our FCA club and was selected to participate in the Chick Fil A Leader Program.   I’m proud to say that so far, I have never missed a day of school dating back to Kindergarten. 

I am looking to advance at the next level playing with a school that makes me better and that I can contribute to.
