Personal Statement
I do not consider myself to be above the guys on my team. I play with them, and they play with me. We are brothers on the court and as team captain I know the responsibility that comes with leading the team. I set the very best example I can and never leave a teammate out. Having played basketball for 11 years, it is a passion to me. I would love to play basketball in college and playing D1 would be incredible. I am hard working, determined, and will do whatever it takes to reach my goal. I am an Eagle Scout, President of National Honor Society, treasurer of Beta Club, captain of the cross country team, a 34 Superscore ACT, a 4.00 GPA and I help to coach the Junior Varsity team. I have always thought that you don't sit around and get what you want in life, you get what you work for. I am willing to work hard and do whatever it takes to move my game to the next level. I plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering and to one day graduate medical school.
