My name is Barrington Adams, and I am a 6’1 Guard attending Northside High School in Columbus Ga. I really love the game of basketball! I'm looking forward to an opportunity to compete at the next level!
I'm a balanced player, who specializes in scoring and rebounding. I am a player who has the ability to be leader and who is confident as an efficient scorer extending from the mid-range area to the perimeter. As a senior, my stats were a vital contribution to the success of our team. Averaging 18.2 ppg, 6 rpg, and also 1.6 spg. In addition, I was awarded with All Region 3-AAAAA first team honors, and I am currently being recognized by the state of Georgia as one of the top guards as a senior. I am also ranked 67th in the state for points per game, leading my region, and being ranked 4th in division AAAAA.
I am maintaining a 3.9 GPA ,as well as taking AP college credit courses to start my college journey early. In addition, I'm also interested in pursuing a civil engineering degree.
Being a part of college basketball would mean a lot to me and my family, as this would be a great achievement and opportunity. Throughout my journey of playing this game I've sacrificed, I've fallen short, and embraced difficult challenges to succeed, but I’ve always respected the game. This involved countless hours perfecting my craft, being coachable, and staying committed to giving my best efforts in practice and the game. My coach always encourages us to lead by example and set the standard for the ones who are coming up next. Hardwork and dedication is what embodies me as a player!
