Dear Coach,

My name is Kenney Garrick, Jr. I am a rising senior at Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia. I am a basketball player and an academic scholar. I completed my junior year with a 4.0 GPA and plan to maintain or exceed this GPA upon graduating high school.

My future plans include obtaining a promising career in Mechanical Engineering in the area of robotics. My desire and aspiration is to continue my higher education at your institution and play basketball at the collegiate level. Currently, I am 6’3, 165 pounds playing the positions of point guard and shooting guard. I am confident that my academic and athletic talents will be an asset to your university and basketball program.
