Jackson Owens '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since kindergarten.  Too small to do much, so my coach assigned me the role of diving on all the loose balls. I loved being the first to scoop up the ball, and I love to compete even more today. On the court I have a motor that will not stop. I am gritty, vocal, and love to take a charge. I am a guard that doesn't mind going down low or driving through traffic to either take the shot or kick it to an open teammate. As much as I love to score or gain an assist, my true passion on the court is putting up an impenetrable defense. The basket is my home, and I protect it. I would love to play ball while earning my degree.  My passions are coaching, communications, and sports management.
