Kamari Smith '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kamari Smith and I strive daily to be a great representation of a student-athlete. As a student, I am enrolled in Honors and AP classes, maintaining all A's and a 4.2 GPA. I believe that academics are necessary to live a productive life. I also believe intelligence and a high IQ are necessary in the game of basketball. My coaches have always said that I possess a high basketball IQ and I am a quick learner. I am considered a leader on and off the court, as my desire is to make those around me better. As a player, my strengths are the ability to score at all three levels, minimize turnovers, getting my teammates involved, my length, my athleticism, and effectively run any coach's offense. In addition, I believe in the importance of working hard on defense. I will always strive to represent my school, coaches, and family with character and integrity. I am certain that I will be a valuable asset to the university/college that gives me an opportunity.
