My name is James Mays III. I am a 6'2" PG at Renaissance Christian Academy. I consider myself to be smooth left-handed guard. I like to score the ball, but am also a very good distributer. I have a great handle with a nice mid-range & perimiter game. I need to work more on finishing through contact. As I progress, I try to pattern my game more to the likeness of James Harden. I am a very disruptive on-ball defender, and I know how to play passing lanes. But I do have to work on my help defense, as I have a tendency to worry about my man when he's not in scoring position. I have 3.2 GPA, that I'm not too fond of, but it shows that I won't be a liability in the classroom. My goal is to recieve a scholarship to play college basketball at the most competitive level possible, then possibly pursue a proffesional career in the US or overseas. I have narrowed my major down to two choices; Engineering & Accounting. I've always enjoyed math and numbers in general, so I wouldn't mind a career in either of those fields.
