Personal Statement

My goal is to be a successful collegiate student athlete, excelling in my area of interests, be a standout basketball player and a major contributor and leader to my team. I believe I am the right fit for the right team due to my basketball ability, athleticism, versatility, IQ and teamwork. I have played at the 5, 4, and 3 position, have had excellent training from former college coaches and pro players over the past 11 years . When I am not studying or playing/practicing with my team, I am usually at Suwanee Sports Academy working on my game with a personal coach or a skills/drill session. My priorities in life start with God first, I always treat people with respect and am sensitive to other situations. I have been awarded several awards for top character in school and have been noted by my coaches as being a leader and top notch contributor. In closing, I love a challenge and will enjoy contributing to your team.

A forward with great size and length who has an incredible low post presence and an arsenal of post moves. Runs the floor well in transition and is a great finisher around the rim. Jump shot is excellent and can shoot the 15 footer and the deep 3. Rebounds, runs the floor, plays great defense. Can absolutely play at the college level and could land at a low D-I or high level D-II. Has really made great strides and improvement as a player in last year. Great kid from a great family. UPSIDE IS THERE!!

Michael has great size and appearance with lots of potential. Outstanding catch and shoot guy with really good form. He is a good passer with great court vision. Needs continued improvement with ball handling skills. Really competes and plays hard on every play. Really mixes it up in the rebounding game. Very aggressive and can play in traffic. Above average defender who will compete on every possession. This young man will play college ball and will be a great asset to a program because of his skills, intelligence and work ethic. Needs to continue to work on his fundamentals....as he grows physically and mentally this young man is a can't miss college prospect. Comes from a great family background. A WINNER!!

ScoutsFocus Elite 80 Evaluation Michael Joseph, a 6'4 180 lb prospect out of North Gwinnett HS (GA), is a skilled wing player that shows he has a good feel for the game that makes good decisions with the ball in his hands. He is able to handle the ball in the open floor and make plays for his team in transition. Coaches in attendance would like to see him continue to develop his jumper. He plays the game with a high motor and crashes the boards on both ends of the floor creating extra possessions for his team.
