My academic/athletic goals are to earn a basketball scholarship to college and to graduate in the top ten percent of my high school class. I aspire to be an asset to my team. I am a SG with the ability to distribute, rebound, and score. My best attributes are my decision making, court vision, and athleticism. I am able to grab multiple rebounds and lead the fast break with the ability to score or make the timely pass.My skill set allows me to also move around and play inside/outside, facing the basket or back to the basket, penetrating to the cup or knocking down long-range 3 pt shots. My size and ability to play all five court positions effectively causes match up issues for opposing teams and makes me a great asset to any team.
I concentrate on working as hard and smart as possible to get better every day. I have gotten bigger, stronger and better each year and will continue to do so. The possibility of being a dominant player at every level motivates to me in my training and my play. I also focus on unselfish team play, the ability to penetrate to the basket and creating scoring opportunities for myself and others. My basketball goal is for my hard work to pay off and be able to play in college and beyond as a professional in the NBA or overseas.
Academically, I wish to obtain a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/ Management and to use this degree to pursue business opportunities related to the sports industry. After establishing my basketball path, I plan to one day return to attend graduate school to obtain my MBA degree.
