My name is Austin Alman, and I’ve been passionate about basketball since I first started playing in the 6th grade. As a senior at CORE Community School in Woodstock, Georgia, my goal is to continue playing basketball at the collegiate level and build upon my skills to reach my full potential. At Core, our basketball team operates with limited coaching staff and without an on-campus gym, meaning we rent space for practices and games. Despite this, I’ve stayed committed to improving my skills and qualities. I believe this is crucial for success at the collegiate level. Outside of team practices, I build upon my skills with a basketball trainer early in the morning and weight training before school, showing my dedication to improving and growing as a player. Academically, I’ve also prioritized success. I maintain a 3.83 GPA and rank 1st in my class. I’ve also been recognized on the Distinguished Honor Roll. I take pride in my academic achievements and in maintaining strong relationships with my teachers. Thank you Coaches for your time, I hope I’ve sparked your interest and left you wanting to learn more!
