Personal Statement

Hello coaches. My name is Ethan Chung, I am in the class of 2026 and attend Punahou School. My main goal is to be a student athlete at a great college while playing the game I love. I will bring anything you need me to bring to the game and I am a selfless player who just wants to win. I am 6'4 and I can play the one through five. I make sure school comes first, before I do anything else.

This tournament was a great weekend. We ended up winning the 9th grade division and I averaged 28 points and 10 rebounds per game over a span of 3 games. My best performance was our 8 point win when I had 35 points, 9 threes, and 11 rebounds.

This tournament I scored the ball very well. I averaged 16.25 points over 4 games. During the first game I had 0 points in the first half but I had 20 points in the second half. We played against some good teams like Mater Dei in the 15u division.

We played in the 8th grade division and got 2nd place. My shooting was pretty good this tournament and played good defense while guarding the best players on the opposing teams.

I played for the Hawaii Wolves in this tournament. I was under the weather the week before this tournament so wasn’t able to practice. I still had a solid performance as I scored 21 points in the first game, and ten in the last two. We went 1-2 but that is just motivation to improve
