Personal Statement

My name is Josiah Shinbara, I have been playing organized basketball since I was 7 years old and club basketball since I was 9.  I'm a combo PG/SG with the vision to see the whole court, looking for high percentage shots for my teammates. 

I've always dreamed of playing basketball after high school, thus have worked hard to keep my grades up and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Outside of my home state of Hawaii, I've played in tournaments and attended camps in Arizona, California, Nevada & Washington St.

My other hobbies, besides basketball, are bodyboarding, surfing, diving, lifting and other outdoor sports.
