Ethan Rudometkin '20 Recruiting Profile

My 6th grade year I was cut from my intermediate basketball team because of my lack of skill and experience.  It hurt me real bad, I felt embarrassed and ashamed.  I remember my dad always saying to “focus on the work”.  So for the next year that’s what I did.  I practiced everyday, learned more about the game through YouTube, played in various leagues, and attended clinics. The following year I became a starter. Ever since then my motto has always been to “focus on the work” and results will follow. As passionate as I am about basketball, I pride myself on being a student athlete and take the same approach in the classroom. My goal is to attend a college in a place that's pleasant to live and study while playing on a competitive college basketball team.
